DESCRIPTION:PUBLIC NOTICE:\nThe following public legal notice is hereby given by Melodie Bogantz\, the Liberty Township Zoning Clerk\, Licking County: \nThe Liberty Township Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Monday\, June 29\, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Liberty Township Administration Building\, 6290 Sportsman Club Road NW\, Johnstown\, Ohio 43031. \nThe nature and purpose of said meeting is to solicit and receive public input on certain proposed amendments to the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution: changing the public notice provisions to refer to a newspaper of general circulation in the Township rather than the County; updating the provisions regarding submitting multiple copies of application plans to require one copy and not issuing a placard; updating sections referring to Home Occupations; and defining Home Occupations. \nAt the conclusion of the Trustee’s public hearing\, the board may approve\, modify or deny the zoning text amendment. \nThe proposed amendment will be available for examination no later than June 19\, 2026\, by contacting Melodie at 614.209.5391 or mbogantzlibertytwpzoningclerk@gmail.com.
