DESCRIPTION:The following public legal notice is hereby given by Melodie Bogantz\, the Liberty Township Zoning Clerk\, Licking County:\nThe Liberty Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday\, October 30th\, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Liberty Township Hall\, 6290 Sportsman Club Road NW\, Johnstown\, Ohio 43031. \nThe nature and purpose of said meeting is to hold a public hearing on eight proposed amendments to the Zoning Resolution and take action on them. The amendments are summarized as follows: 2024-05 would update Section 200 Definitions & Section 811 Transportation Overlay District (TC) relating to the Technical Review Committee; 2024-06 through 2024-09 would update the Permitted and Conditionally Permitted Uses in Section 804 Agricultural District (AG)\, Section 806 Local Business District (LB)\, Section 807 General Business District (GB)\, and Section 808 Light Manufacturing District (M-1); 2024-10  would update Section 810 Flood Plain Overlay District (FP) to reference the current maps; 2024-11 would update Sections 811 Transportation Overlay District (TC) would update outdated references; 2024-12 would update Section 922 Noise to refer to the township’s current Noise Resolution. \nAfter the conclusion of the Zoning Commission’s hearing\, the matter will be submitted to the Liberty Township Board of Trustees for its action.
