NOTICE – Public Hearing – The Liberty Township Board of Zoning Appeals to Consider Variance Applications 2025-VAR-004 & 2025-VAR-005

LEGAL NOTICE:
The Liberty Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold two public hearings on October 16th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Administration Building at 6290 Sportsman Club Road NW, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
Case Number 2025-VAR-004:
This application for a variance was filed by Walter Messer & John Neibarger for 6335 Castle Road, Johnstown, Ohio. The application requests variances from the provisions of the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution to allow two lots to have less than the required 200’ minimum lot width for the purpose of dividing a lot, and to allow more than one single-family dwelling to remain on a lot.
Case Number 2025-VAR-005:
This application for a variance was filed by Gary Chisolm for 7421 Concord Road, Johnstown, OH. The application requests a variance from the required front yard setback for the purpose of constructing an accessory structure less than 100 feet from the center of the road as is required by the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution.
