Zoning Commission Public Hearing – (Proposed Zoning Amendments)

The following public legal notice is hereby given by Melodie Bogantz, the Liberty Township Zoning Clerk, Licking County:
The Liberty Township Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing & Meeting on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Liberty Township Administration Building, 6290 Sportsman Club Road NW, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
The nature and purpose of said meeting is to solicit and receive public input on certain proposed amendments to the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution: changing the public notice provisions to refer to a newspaper of general circulation in the Township rather than the County; updating the provisions regarding submitting multiple copies of application plans to require one copy and not issuing a placard; updating sections referring to Home Occupations; and defining Home Occupations.

After consideration by the Zoning Commission, the matter will be referred to the Liberty Township Board of Trustees for its action.
