PUBLIC HEARING – Liberty Township Board of Trustees – Heavy Industrial & Unanimous Vote – 11/13/2023 @ 6:30pm  (posted 11/05/2023)

Notice is hereby given that the Liberty Township, Licking County, Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 13, 2023, during their regular monthly meeting beginning at 6:30pm, at the Liberty Township Building, 6290 Sportsman Club Road, NW, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.

The nature and purpose of said Public Hearing is to elicit and receive public input on certain proposed changes to the Township’s Zoning Resolution. The changes relate to adding a “Heavy Industrial District†to the Township Zoning Resolution; and to removing from the Resolution the requirement that a unanimous vote of all three (3) of the Township Trustees is required when the Board of Trustees denies or modifies a recommendation of the Township Zoning Commission in relation to proposed updates or other changes in the Township Zoning Resolution. Further, the members of the Board of Trustees will discuss and deliberate as to the matters and issue, and ultimately make a decision on these matters.
