NOTICE – Public Hearing – The Liberty Township Board of Trustees to Consider Proposed Changes to the Zoning Resolution

The following public legal notice is hereby given by Melodie Bogantz, the Liberty Township Zoning Clerk, Licking County:
The Liberty Township Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Liberty Township Administration Building, 6290 Sportsman Club Road NW, Johnstown, Ohio 43031.
The nature and purpose of said meeting is to solicit and receive public input on certain proposed amendments to the Liberty Township Zoning Resolution: changing the public notice provisions to refer to a newspaper of general circulation in the Township rather than the County; updating the provisions regarding submitting multiple copies of application plans to require one copy and not issuing a placard; updating sections referring to Home Occupations; and defining Home Occupations.
At the conclusion of the Trustee’s public hearing, the board may approve, modify or deny the zoning text amendment.
